We recommend that you have all the materials needed before the construction of the instrument, because sometimes the materials may differ from the template.
Our templates are made with great precision and we are testing them in the "real life" but sometimes materials may differ slightly in dimensions,
Τemplates are cut with a machine of Laser CO2 technology. When cutting there is a small loss of material equal to about 0.37 mm (3.7 / 10th of a millimeter).
The only point that can bother you for this reason is the neck joint. In order to do it correctly, we suggest that you first make the neck of the instrument (even only the back side without the fretboard) and if it is ready, proceed to the neck pocket first with a test on some "useless" wood. If you find that the neck is not tight enough you can add one or more masking tapes to the neck pocket template until you achieve the desired for you. Keep in mind that when you paint the neck it will "acquire" some extra thickness depending on the colors that will be used.
If you are sure of the result, you can proceed with the construction of the neck pocket and the rest of the body of the instrument.
